This Math Equation STINKS!

Why is it when I married my husband and we moved in together he lost 10 lbs & I gained 5?  That is math I dislike.

He has started eating more fruits and vegetables from me in exchange for me eating more of his processed junk food.  UGH!  Thankfully we've both given in a little and have some balance in regards to groceries.

Does things end up in your refrigerator from a roommate or significant other that SCREAM your name?

However I am SUPER excited about this Oskie Woskie shirt*** I found for only $4.  Shana from ColorBlind got me hooked on these kinds of shirts while on our thrift shopping extravaganzas.

***Oskie Woskie (pronounced OH-ski WHOA-ski) is a term for shirts that are at least 25 years old.

  1. Bad foods SCREAM my name for sure! My roommates and I all buy our own food, so it really could be worse, because I have a roommate who eats really poorly, but I definitely could eat better...it's just so hard! Seasonal Oreos are the worst. They are sooo good. However, very high in sugars, fat content, etc. I need to eat better but I have a really hard time doing it.

    Any suggestions?

  3. Hi Sarah! Well, both my husband and I gain *way* more than that in our 23 years of marriage, so I think that's quite a good result so far.

  4. My husband only ate fast food before we got married. Then I made him eat 3 meals a day, fruits and vegetables and he gained 30lbs in the first year. :)

    We defy logic.

  5. My husband and I have both gained weight since we got married. Not a super ton, but enough to not be able to fit into some of the pants that I could pre-marriage. I just keep trying to lose it/keep it at bay. Following you now!

  8. Some of Max's foods definitely scream my name ;-) When we first got married I *definitely* gained weight because he ate all the time and I'd just plop down with a plate and join him. Too bad it doesn't work that way for girls! :P
