Sunday: The Day Of Rest......Sorta. Plus a New Healthy Recipe.......Sorta.

I like to reserve Sundays for being lazy.  However my version of lazy is kind of twisted.

8:30am: Taught a 1 hour Spinning class.  The spinner attendees really help in keeping ME motivated.  Who would've thought?

10:00am Kissed a dog and two cats for 15 minutes

The chubby one who likes to wear my shoes

The mischievous ladies cat

The sweet snuggler who NEVER barks or howls

How could you pass up hanging with this???

10:30am - Grocery shopped (BORING but necessary)

12:00pm - Cooked healthy pasta salad while also catching up on DVR (SNL with Alec Baldwin).  I'm a total multi taker.  Doing one thing at a time just isn't for me...haha

I love Barilla brand pasta.  Especially the Piccolini. They have Mini Zucchini and Spinach Rotelle &
Mini Tomatoes & Carrots Farfalle

Here is my recipe.  Really not a recipe.  I just throw stuff in a bowl that sounds good.  I promise it works.

Here are the ingredients.
This is the final product.

1:15pm - Lay around and watch football with my husband.  Read magazines, blog and pretend to watch football.

Have a RESTFUL Sunday!

  1. that pasta salad looks awesome! Nothing like a lazy Sunday to finish out/start off the new week hehe

  2. I love spinning classes! Thats one of my fav exercise classes. Your cat is soo cute...wearing your shoes and all lol. Sunday=my lazy day too, but since I'm a student I have to spend some time studying unfortunately. And the past salad look sooooo yummy!

P.S. Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog! I appreciate it!

  3. I am glad you found me because now I found your blog! I have never seen those Barilla Pastas with the vegetables before. I am going to have to give those to my kids...maybe they won't even know they are eating vegetables! Brilliant! I am also pretending to watch football at my house!

  4. Thanks for the recipe! That looks super tasty and easy!! I looove the cat and dog pictures! I can't believe the dog and cat snuggle together!! I have tons of cat pictures, but they are all of my cat being super obnoxious and mischievous.

  5. I'm not normally a big pasta salad fan but yours looks really good. I'll have to try your "recipe". I've never been to a spin class before. I'm thinking about trying one but I don't have cycling shoes and I'm afraid I'm going to have a hard time keeping up. Any advice?

  6. I want all of your pets and some of that pasta salad! Sounds like an amazing day to me!

  7. I had a faaab delicious pasta/potato salad that looked similar to yours. Just threw everything in there.

And spinning is pretty much the best workout ever (2nd to running of course).

  8. That pasta looks ridiculously good - I am definitely going to try it!! Some days I crave cold pasta salad, and this seriously looks like it'll hit the spot!

    Love your Sunday!!

  9. Your pasta looks really good. I love watching me some football......I didn't have to pretend :)

  10. Thanks for commenting on my blog! I just bought those new Piccolini Veggies pastas and I'm eating some random pasta salad right now as I type this! Yummm Oh and your kitties are adorableeee.

  11. I need to get back into spinning's been since the spring. Eeeek!

  12. You are a riot. I loved this post, especially the part about kissing your pets for 15 min. I totally stalk all 5 of my pets. 2 cats (brothers) 1 kitten 10 months and 2 pups(sisters) 10 months...that sounds crazy but it is true. I love barilla pasta too. Dawn Suitcase Vignettes xo
