I've stated this on more than one occasion. I am a TERRIBLE cook. Anything that requires an oven, food processor, pots or pans pretty much loses me every time. I would consider myself more of a food assembler......
So today I assembled the most
BEAUTIFUL salad ever.
My salad philosophy is to ADD EVERYTHING.
I found 2 new tasty things for my salad:
Ken's Steakhouse Lite Northern Italian Dressing &
Almond Accents (slivers of almonds with salt and pepper on them).
Seriously good.
Here is what I had on my salad today. You might think I'm overdoing it but I promise it's good.
Spring Mix Lettuce
Fat Free Feta Cheese (Mediterranean Seasoned)
Banana Peppers
Bread & Butter Pickles
Carrots
Olives
Avocado
Roasted Red Pepper
Craisins
Black Grapes
Apple
Almond Accents
Barilla Vegetable Pasta
Topped w/ Ken's Steakhouse Northern Lite Dressing
Are you IN or do you just think I am a crazy salad maker??
Looks amazing! I toss in whatever I have lying around for my salads--sometimes they have that many ingredients too!
ReplyDeleteThat looks delicious! The more the merrier on salads, I think :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that really is pretty much everything ;-)
ReplyDeleteI can't say I am down with pickles in a salad, but I hate pickles!! I need to get more adventurous with my salads though. And I love that I am not the only horrible cook!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah! Big Congrats on that thing not mentioned on your blog yet. (Trying to speak in cryptic words here to not spoil your post on it). :D
